Photo Shoot!

I got to do a photo shoot with my friend Amanda and her fiancee Daniel today -- I came home and edited them (some just quick touch ups and some became black & white) and then sent off a dozen so they can choose one to use as their wedding invitation!! Exciting!  :D

I took some pictures at Amanda's while we waited on Daniel -- she has this awesome lion in her living room:

And I loved the color contrast of the lion + the couch/pillows:

Also, I think because I'm blind as a bat, I like taking impressionistic photos because that's how I actually see things (and also I just love impressionism):

I even got an impressionistic one of them!

I took 88 pictures (about 84 were of them) and I am pretty happy with about 15 of them.  I need to keep figuring out the best ISO (which is my main problem -- I LOVE blown out photos but that isn't quite the look you want for portraits), and make a list of good poses/instructions for portraits, but...I love it.  I love taking photos, I love chatting while we're shooting, and I adore finding great candid (I got a REALLY funny one of both of them -- completely adorable and goofy!) shots.

I will definitely be doing more photography.
