I finished up writing notes all over the manuscript this morning and actually was excited enough to type up the Prologue and part of the first chapter! I've figured out that I have to start with a blank slate for every revision...while a lot more work, it's easier to keep them separate in my head. Re-writing is just clearer for me this way.
I think this version is already better than draft 2. I changed some wording around and included more background information up front so I have a support for things that happen later...
Also, I have another name picked out in case we have four girls: Violet Fern.
Although I need to figure out what Violet's middle name is...it's definitely not Fern.
Ideas?
Her mother's name is Mia and her dad's name is James, if that helps. So they wouldn't pick out anything too outlandish. And hopefully nothing too plain. :)
