I thought up a line for a two-panel comic. I wish I could draw on command.
The first line (and panel) is: "I'm not the evil genius mastermind I want my friends to think I am." (drawing of a little kid in a labcoat and explosions)
Second line: "I'm just a sad little kid with a sensitive soul." (drawing of a little kid in a corner of a room crying)
I don't know why it popped into my head. I like phrasing things so I string words together to see what happens.
Maybe when I feel inspired I'll actually draw it and make something I like.
In other news:
Still working on that story idea I had a few weeks ago...getting a little more about the characters but no title suggestions as of yet. There are five main characters, until the 2nd part (season? novel? I don't know) - then there's one more...and then they add up but not too many...I think I can keep it down to 8 or 9. One thing that's really confusing in a read or a movie/tv show is if there are a lot of characters that don't get introduced into the script well enough to be memorable. Then you're always saying, "Ok, WHO is this??" Not fun. And it's aggravating. Hopefully I'll be able to avoid that.
The Cones do not have swine flu. Just sayin'.
Stu is the most excited I've ever seen him - 2nd place goes to when Dark Knight came out. He is jumping up and down and being all fangirly about the new Star Trek. Silly boy. :P
Looking forward to a summer of reading...I plan to read Coraline, The Willoughbys, the Redwall Series (or at least the ones I haven't read), any new books by Gerald Morris, Lorna Doone, and...well, that's the list for now, I guess. That should keep me occupied for a month or so. :P
I have discovered that I like frosting cakes. NEW HOBBY, ANYONE???? Gosh. :P
We are about 1/4 of our way through Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 4. Sadly, I am lacking in a lot of sleep because SOMEONE insists on watching "just one more..." at 3:30 a.m. It's not me. :P
I love Stuart Harlan Cone with all my heart. I'm looking forward to spending the rest of my life with him. Even though he won't let me tickle him. :P Silly.
I am ridiculous, and I embrace it.
Have a great week, everyone - 2 more weeks of school left!!!! YAAAAAAAY! And then I go to an 8-5 job the next Monday. Joy...but at least now I don't have the added pressure of homework.
