So, last night, Stu, Kirsten and I turned on the TV just to see what was on, since we were bored with our selection of DVDs and VHSs. (Yes, we have several VHS tapes) Little did we know that we would get roped in to the season finale of Ugly Betty!
1. I had heard of Ugly Betty but didn't give it much thought.
2. Watching the show, I found myself thinking "WHY HAVE I NOT BEEN WATCHING THIS?"
3. The mixture of comedy and drama is perfect. I cried. And laughed. Several times.
4. I thought about it most of the night and this morning I wiki'd the show and looked on Amazon to see how cheap a used season 1 is. $13 w/ shipping.
5. If you are interested in fashion, bright colors, America Ferrera, romance, silliness, or soap operas...give Betty a try. She's great.
Too bad we got stuck watching the 2 hour season finale, which had more drama than I bargained for - as in, real heartbreak. Whew. I am looking forward to watching Betty this fall. September 24!
