I realized a few weeks ago that although I'd seen the first and last seasons of Ugly Betty (with a few episodes of 2 and 3 sprinkled in), I'd never watched it all the way through. Knowing what's at the end makes it bittersweet, but it's so lovely to watch the entire story unfold.
I don't think I've met anyone else who loves Ugly Betty as much as I do (and Abbie - you may love it just as much as me once you finish the series - we'll have to wait and see!), for all the same reasons. I love that Betty is a writer, I love that she started out with braces and glasses, I love that she changed the people around her for the better, and I love how it ends...I just love the show all the way through. I laugh and cry through it and wonder how all the color, dialogue, and characters can be so brilliant.
Someday, I want to write something that's impacted me as much as Ugly Betty has.
