The Roommate, Draco, The Doctor, Oh My!

So last night I dreamed that my old roommate Laura and I were in Dillsboro, N.C. on a sunny, wet winter afternoon, walking down the sidewalk toward some shopping.  A bus stopped beside us and one of Laura's old friends was at the door when it opened.  I sensed instantly that she was bad.  Something was off about her.  She pulled out a white ceramic dish of British pudding and proceeded to tempt Laura onto the bus with it.

I knew I had to let Laura decide on her own but I was hoping desperately that she wouldn't get on the bus -- something bad would happen to her if she did.

In the end, she said no and we kept walking and entered a huge hotel lobby -- it was decorated in brown.  We met Draco Malfoy who promised to keep us safe and insisted on walking with us down a long hallway.  He was somewhere between Tom Felton and an anime version of Draco mixed with Lauren Lopez's caricature of him in A Very Potter Musical (looked anime, acted like LL's version of himself but dressed like Tom's version of Draco).  And he was hitting on me.

Which, of course, I detested.  I refused his help and even when he slowed down time (like one of my least favorite TV ads, the Rolo commercial), and was so proud of himself for making it 'romantic', I made a very anime-ish gesture (two fists, smoke above my head, aggravated pose) and got rid of him.

So, we were on our own.  We went back to the lobby and met up with Tennant's Doctor (10) and proceeded to have a witty repartee with him about sleeping outside in a paper bag.

But then I woke up so I don't know if Draco decided to come to the rescue despite my lack of interest in his advances, or if we really did sleep outside in the cold, awaiting an attack from Laura's old friend.
