If you want to read my thoughts on books I've been reading (I'm averaging 2 a week right now, ever since a friend told me about checking out library books on my Kindle via Wi-Fi), check out my other blog:
thelitcrit.blogspot.com
I might re-name/re-tool it but for now I just want to keep track of what I've read, what I liked and didn't, and things to keep in mind, should I ever pursue writing. And, perhaps, some days I may update on my ScriptFrenzy/NaNoWriMo/other writing projects.
ANNNNND:
If you have a blog, I'd like to read it! (GMB, I can't access yours -- which might be because you don't want others to read it, but in case you weren't aware that I couldn't read anymore, I just wanted to say something.) :)
I a now following the lit crit!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I decided to hide it because my writing was getting really, really defensive and angry. The original intent was to post Notebook Prayers, bits of insightful, spiritual, encouraging things (think, Ann Voskamp's "A Holy Experience" blog or Charissa's blog). But I'm sardonic and negative. I always envision a blog that is on the cutting edge of theological and political insight, but I also want to blog about my life. So I'm mulling it over and trying to strike a balance.
That's fair. I have a private blog that I vent on, but it is hard to keep things that are close to your heart either away from a public audience or from sounding raw. :/
ReplyDeleteThanks for following my other blog! I'll be posting every few days, I think. Being able to check out books from the library on my Kindle is *AWESOME*.
ALSO: There are auditions for Arsenic & Old Lace on Monday night at 7:30 here at CIU. Anyone affiliated with CIU can audition (I asked the casting director, who happens to be Sarah Strobolakos!). ...just in case you want to come with me. ;)
I'm going to be out of town! That sounds awesome, though.
ReplyDeleteWhoops, sorry. I knew you were going to be out of town tomorrow but not on Monday. Wish me luck, then! :P
ReplyDeleteBreak a leg!
